Default Sub-category image not found issue

    Hi All,

    and thanks in advance!

This is my website http://thehungrybookshelf.com.au/ind...index&cPath=10 and since my image folder has been compressed and I went through and reduced all of my images to a smaller version, these odd little boxes are coming up. It is like an image not found for all of my subcategories, previously it was just the written heading that was there.

Does anyone know how to fix it? I have emailed the designer twice with no response, so thought I would try the experts on here. If I need to put an image there I will, but if I can take the boxes out I would prefer to do that, but I just don't know how to do it!

    Thanks again, Helen

Are the "odd little boxes" broken image links? Did you change the name or location of the image files when you compressed them?

It looks like they are, but I never changed any links to anything, and it was the guy who built the website who compressed my files, and unfortunately he hasn't answered my question after 2 weeks. So I'm really not sure what happened.

Looks like your category icons are no longer pointed at their images. It could be that the permissions were changed.
If you go into your catalog and look at the category description, you will see whether or not your images are showing up there. You can easily repoint them to the images by editing the category description.
