Google Base Feeder ver: 1.7.4

I installed Google Base Feeder according to the installation guide. ALL files have been uploaded, feed folder CHMOD 777'd, Google Base Feeder DOES appear in both Configuration and Tools menu. There are no wordpress plugin(s) whatsoever or any other major changes to the original ZenCart software other than basic design. The problem has been there since I first installed Google Base Feeder (aka it never worked). When I click "Click [HERE] to create / update your products feed." it opens a popup with the store homepage. When I click "NOTE: You may view your product feed file before proceeding to step 2." it opens a new window with the stores front page. The feed is never actually created and there are no errors displayed anywhere. Any ideas what could be causing this? Thank you in advance!
