Customize Main Page

I couldn't seem to find an answer to this question. My client has only 1 product in 2 sizes. He wants the home page to display the product page with an option to select the 2 sizes. Not really sure what to do. Help please.

Not sure, but try this (it can't hurt anything)

admin>configuration>layout settings>Skip 1-prod Categories

set to true

Thanks, that will only cause the product page to open when the category is clicked on.

Cant you just create 2 products, one for each size, it will give you 2 shots at getting good search engine rankings for 2 terms and would be easy to differentiate the descriptions enough not to worry about duplicate content?

Also set Configuration > Layout Settings >
Categories - Always Show on Main Page >set to 1
Main Page - Opens with Category >set to your category id
