Can some one help me please?

Am using a new Zen Cart 1.3.8a with over 3,000 products pre-installed.

When I open a product and view source in a browser window, I see all the Meta tags that should be on the page about that product, but when I check in Zen Cart under Catalog and Categories and Products, see all the Meta Tags Defined are set on no/off. If I try and turn them on, have to enter all the information again. Is this correct, is something overriding the settings or do I need to change them all (hoping not )?
