Right Column/Boxes Problem

Hello,

I am having issues with resizing the right column and boxes.

I changed all t he settings in Layout Settings to 150px... for both the column itself and the boxes

yet my right column is 250 px wide. There is no image or anything in the boxes that is stretching it to this width either... just the default text that comes with the default classic template... which is the template I am modiffying for this shop.

Someone please help me? I havent much hair left to pull out ;)

seems when I remove the boxes I have in the rght column the column then goes to the 150 width I have it set to.

How do I change the widthe of invidividual boxes? And why n the world would individual boxes have their own width settings?

the boxes I had on the right side were notification and search

A link to your site would help. The sideboxes don't have their own width settings, so something has gotten corrupted somewhere.

hmm just noticed now that if I go to the site as a guest and have no items inmy cart that the left column becomes huge.. well beyond the 150px I have it set to I am thinking somewhere there is a width% doing this but have no clue where

id like my left and right columns to be 150px (maybe 200 - not decided yet) no matter what

OR

my page is 1000px wide... so each column being 20% would work too.

I did edit my stylesheet to make the page 1000px wide.

It looks like you have your sidebox widths set to '150'. Try '150px' instead.

I know this is off topic of this thread a bit but maybe you could answer this question please?

I edited my stylesheet and for whatever reason the images that were above the boxes and at the top of the site... i think it was named title_back.gif isnt appearing now. any ideas?

nevermind on my 2nd question.. I found out what had happened... had an extra ../ in the url
