Default mix and match quantity discount?

I have one product that I want to offer an additional discount if they buy 10 or more.

This product has three variations (it is a food product with three different flavours).

I want the customer to be able to pick any combination of the three flavours to make an order of 10 for the discount.

    Can this be done?

I assume the flavors are attributes - if so, yes, this can be done. Watch out for this bug though:

Hmmm, so lets say I create options with radio buttons for the 3 different flavours,

    how is it possible to select say 3 X flavour A, 3 X flavour B and 4 X Flavour C
and add them to the cart?

If it's just the one item with no options they can easily add any quantity they want in one action but as soon as
you add options as radio buttons I can only see how 1 can be added.

Is there some way to have a quantity box for each option?

It's not possible to do this without changing code. The way it's built right now you would add the A's, then B's then C's one at a time.

OK, is it possible then to have them as 3 separate products but somehow have them setup so that
an additional discount is applied when the threshold of 10 of any combination of the 3 items is reached?

Then the customer could add the quantity of each one very easily. So long as the cumulative
discount is applied at some point that would be fine.

    Thanks for your feedback.

You cannot do this if you want to use the built in quantity discount system.

If you want to make them separate products, you would need to use my Quantity Discount contribution from the free software add-ons area.
