While everyone is chatting about changing links
I would like to change the link of one of my catagories in the sidebox to an destination not within my site.
It would go to an acct with one of distributors website.

To do this without editing tpl files, you can use Categories Dressing and make a heading with link code in its definition. Use the heading instead of your dummy category.

Ok I a bit of a newbie so I am assuming the catagoeis dressing is in the admin - i do not have the live site debugged yet so I will do a dry run on my computer first.

Categories Dressing is a mod you have to download and install.
