Problems with Index files

Hi

in making some changes i think i have been a bit of an idiot and changed my index files and even put them in the wrong place.

It would be wonderful if someone could let me know what should be in them and where they should be.

I have one in includes/languages/english/index.php

should I have one anywhere else?

There should be one in the root of your store, and in the admin folder. There may be others. The easiest way to find out is to download the Zencart zip file, unzip it on your local computer and take a look.
