HTTP 406 Error when updating any products

Hello,

This just popped up. I can't save any modifications to any products, it comes back with HTTP 406 Not Acceptable. The preview shows ok but when I click on update, the error message I get is the above.

I have not applied any changes recently - but 2 days ago I was able to save things and update the website.

I had another strange thing going on, the who's online page times out but I found the reason for that - some php variable got enabled on the server.

Please please please help, I am not sure what's going on.

Can this be caused by some other PHP variable on the server?

I use zencart 1.37.

Maybe your hosting company did more than just change their php.ini settings ... maybe they also added some aggressive mod_security rules?

Yes, mod security was te problem. They disabled it on my account so now it works again.
