Show categories on the main page

I know, I know, Ive seen this question over and over again but I cant get it to work what am I doing wrong?

I need the categories to show on the main page when you come to my site (which Im working on right now...) at http://216.185.196.188

I have:

Categories - Always Show on Main Page set to 1 in configuration->layout settings and
Main Page - Opens with Category set to 0.

I keep getting the ad for the "Have you got yours yet" book.

Please help. Thanks.

You also get the categories - - -
Try admin > config > define page status > Define Main Page Status > set to "0"
