Newbie needed help with the Template integration?

I installed Zen cart 1.3.8 on my local linux system.

I wnated to change the orinal template and add a new template for zen cart.

I copied the zen cart template into the http://mysite.com/includes/template/.
I tried to preview it in the admin section. I could not find it.

Can any one suggest how could a proceed further in order to implement the template.

Often template have already the file structure that is required by Zencart and you have to copy all files in the main directory. When you have done this properly, it should appear in the admin section.

Assuming that you have installed the template on you local file system in /..../apache2/htdocs/ you have to copy all the template files there as well.
