Idea or Suggestion SVN and my online store?

I was wondering if anyone has installed their store on a server with SVN or any other version control system and how they accomplished it? I think it would be a great fallback to have revisions of all your changes. It would also allow you to install mods and roll them back if they caused any bugs.

Default Re: SVN and my online store?

Havent done this but myself because you dont have ssh access on my server. When you want to make update the changes of your zencart, you need ssh access on you server where your zencart is running to update the project, a svn client must be installed as well plus you need access the the server where your svn repository is located. If you want to record the database, export the database to the same file and than commit all changes to the SVN server. When you are satisfied, update your Online shop.
