Help needed with getting Paygate payment module to work

This is my first time using Zencart and please bear with me as this is my first attempt at anything other html/css or flash websites.

Version: zen-cart-v1.3.8a-full-fileset-12112007
It is a new install
Web server - Debian Linux
MySQL 5
PHP5

I am using a company called Paygate as the payment module, have downloaded and installed it. At the moment everything works but when trying a test purchase the result I should be seeing is a page that advises me that my purchase was either approved or declined. However, I was returned to a blank screen. No information on it at all.

The problem I am having is the instructions they have sent me http://www.business-opportunity-book...ebv2 v1.11.pdf. I do not know where or how to integrate this into my zencart system? So I have not used the hidden form fields anywhere yet as I don't know where to put them?

Hi all
After fiddling a bit, I now successfully make a test purchase, I get a paygate confirmation and a zencart confirmation email - BUT the check_out process page is still blank.

Nothing is displayed and I do not get redirected back to my site? Can anyone please help:

Expiry Date must be in the future; Card Holder & CVV can be made up.

First thing to do is to review the pages you had to modify to install PayGate and check if there is a blank line inserted after the last ?> at the end.

I did a test purchase and the payment side of things seemed to work. I did get a blank page and the order is still in processing status.

Thank you, thank you! You are a genius! Both paygate pages had two blank lines after the end, removed them now it works!


You have no idea what a learning curb this has been for me, have never even attempted PHP in my life. Must say Zen Cart is fantastic software.
