Stock by Attributes v4.7ajax Add-on install

Trying to set up my 1st Zen Cart store. Thanks to all for the help received so far.

I am trying to install the "Stock by Attributes v4.7ajax" Add on, as it appears to provide the functionallity I require, but I can't get it to work. I have followed all the instructions to the best of my ability, but one thing is not clear.

The install instruction say to rename the directory "includes/modules/YOUR_TEMPLATE" with your template name. But this directory does not exist in the zip file I have downloaded!
It also says to rename "includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE" in the same way, this one DOES exist and I have renamed it.

I then FTP the files to the server as instructed

I have run the SQL update by copying and pasting the query into the 'Install SQL Patches' text box, is this correct?

I am trying this add on with a clean vanilla install of zen cart (not live!)

All help much appreciated.

I think that's a mistake in the instructions. There isn't any override folder in that folder.

It sounds like you did the SQL part right. What doesn't work about the installation?

What doesn't work is that after installation I can not see anywhere or anyway of adding a stock quantity for a specific attribute.

I believe the Ajax version is missing a file includes\classes and a couple css files, i fixed it in my case by downloading the previous version of the addon and it worked,

joemind is right. That version of the addon uses the installation instructions from previous versions but bundles an incomplete set of files.

There's more about it towards the end of the addon's support thread.

To save my hair falling out can someone not upload the complete set of files? This is kinda misleading for us newbies!

It maynot have all the bells and whistles, but the plain 4.7 version has been thoroughly tested to a professional standard, has no known bugs, and provided it's installed correctly will work fine.

Also, does anybody know there the "ajax" directory should go?

Hay to set up thet the attribute of product in shop showing amount of stock.
I wont to user see hay mach is stock of each attribute??
