Coffee Cup, is it compatible? Please help.

The website I represent has been created using coffeecup. This software is of the WYSIWYG ( What You See Is What You Get) variety. It is made for anyone who really can't deal with making websites and because of this it completly hides and HTML code and you can't, as far as i'm aware, insert new code.

So does this mean Zen-cart is not compatible?

Whether or not it is I would also like to know if there is a limit on the number of items we can sell using the software. We currently have more than 20,000 cards and documents, can Zen-cart be used? Will it be a long and arduous task?

Finally, the host has told me that the cart should be compatible with Zeus servers, any ideas if it is?...

If you have had any experince with this it would be great if you could let me know!

No clue about Zeus servers, so I can't help you there. I'm sure someone else on the forum can help with that.

Zen Cart is pretty easy to customize. There is a learning curve involved. There are some free template available for Zen Cart and you might be able to use one of them as a starting point. You can see them in action at http://(sorry, site offline)/.

Zen Cart is php based. The best thing to use to edit php is a good text editor. Notepad++ and Crimson Editor are both good and free on the net.

The other thing you'll need is an FTP client to ship files to and from your website. Filezilla is good and also free.

The number of items Zen Cart can handle depends (more or less) on the server. You should be ok.
