Is there a maximum numbefr of products that zen cart can handle?

I have an online auto accessories site. It is currently in Cube Cart format. It has about 5000 products.

If Zen cart can handle that many products I am thinking that I would like to switch it to zen cart.

Does anyone know about how many products max that zen cart can handle.

Also, if zen cart does work for large number of products, I would like to have it programmed to include an import function so that I don't have to hand create each item.

I also would like to have it programmed so that products that fit several categories can be more easily duplicated.

Hello. I've had over 25,000 products in my zen store with no issues. I use easy populate to import products, but the import file has to be in the correct format.

TIP: Use Open Office rather than Excel
