Remove * from fields on create account page?

Hi,

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I can't seem to find the solution. I would like to display fields: Telephone & Date of Birth on my 'create account' page, however, don't want them to be required and want to take the '*" out.

I already made the following changes:

Customer Details> DOB> set to true

Minimum Values> DOB and Telephone> left blank

Anyone can share with me which file I have to edit to get rid of the '*"?

These are all in the language file ... just set the DEFINE to '' rather than '*' on these defines ...
