    Default HTTPS Question

Ok, I looked through the forums and I cannot find the answer to this, although I am sure it has been answered(but I cant find it)

I have a site with a non shared ssl certificate. I am using the plain ol classic theme so there is no confusion.

I updated my config files in includes and admin per the tutorial, and then verified that the files are correct(I changed my file permissions in my file manager then changed them back, and reopened each config file to ensure that all was set)

My internal links are still http, not https. When one goes to checkout, the https works fine.

I guess my question is, what do I have to do to get all of the pages to show up https? Is there another file I have to change somewhere, or should I not just worry about it since the checkout process works fine?

I had it working before, and yesterday I upgraded zen cart to 1.3.8.

    the site is here

any help or input would be appreciated, thanks!

ps: not that it matters, but I am using hostgator

That's normal. Only login/checkout/myaccount areas operate in https.

Is there a particular reason why you think you need all your internal pages to be https too? Unless you have super-sensitive information in your product descriptions etc, using https on all pages is counter-productive.

No reason, just new to the ssl realm in ecommerce so I was not sure what was appropriate or not. So long as its normal and the checkout process is secure I am happy, just checking.

    Thanks!!
