You should get yourself an FTP client like Filezilla (free on the net) which will allow you to send files between your computer and your website hosting.

Depending on how the template is structured, you should be able to FTP the folder containing the template into the root of your Zen Cart and it will take it from there. Once the template is there, you go into your Zen Cart admin and select it from the pull down menu in admin>tools>template selection.

I would like to still know how to get to the directory in order to change over files...there does not seem to be a file manager with Zen Cart...as with OSCommerce there is a file manager section in order to change files..

There is no built in file manager in Zen Cart. It was a huge security hole.

Follow AFO's instructions and use an FTP program to transfer your files from your computer to your web space. If the template is designed properly for Zen Cart you should be able to transfer the whole /includes directory from your desktop to the web space and the files will automatically go into the proper directories that are inside the /includes folder.

You should unzip a copy of Zen Cart on your local computer. It'll make the folder/file structure clearer to you and it's the best way to edit php files. You'll need a good text editor like Notepad++ or Crimson Editor (both are free on the net). You can then FTP the changes to your website.

Don't forget to follow the template/override system when making changes.
