Offline CC Processing Error

Hi everyone!

First time up here, but I'm receiving an error in Step 2 of my offline CC processing. I have the standard Zen Cart offline CC enabled and am not using a 3rd party module. When CC info is put in at Step 2, it just stays on Step 2 and gives the url code:

/checkout_payment.html?zenid=9f54c8ac3f58624659b9aca763873fcc&payment_error=cc

This also happens if I try to use the internal CC codes for checking the module operation.

I am using V 1.3.8, my server OS is Linux 2.6.28.9 and my PHP version is 5.2.9 (Zend: 2.2.0). I recently upgraded to the new security patch, but I don't know how long this may have been an issue...I can't recall ever getting an offline CC payment, only Paypal, which works fine. (These are the only two options enabled for payment.) Everything else site-wide seems to be working/displaying fine.

being a newbie myself I hope I am not giving the wrong info but I think the offline credit card processing is just a TEST mod to use before you inistall your own payment gateway i.e., authorize.net or globalpay.
You will have to get some kind of merchant account in order to accept credit card payments from customers.
If you do not get a merchant account or install a real payment gateway then there really isnt a reason to use Offline (means not live) CC processing other than to test your setting prior to installing your payment gateway.

Actually, the Offline Processor is for just that ... those who processes their credit cards offline ...

On the errors you are getting, what happens if you turn off the SEO/rewrites ...
