    Default Help IE6 Users

    Anybody using IE 6, please can you check out my product page as my customers are saying that they cant see my add to cart button.

    Some people are saying that it is away scrolled off the right.

    It is, but it's also messed up here on IE7 and IE8, though in different ways. There is a horizontal scrollbar present in all IE browsers. I'm using IE7 and 8 at 1280 X 1024 and IE6 at 1440 X 900.

    I should also say that I've always had problems viewing your site. Page loads are extremely slow and disjointed. It may be all the javascript you have running - it seems OK with FF3 and NoScript.

    Also, I'm not sure all the meta stuff in your source is helping you. I'm no expert, but I believe too many tags can be harmful to your SEO.

    One more thing - I'm not sure I should be able to read all that Slimbox code in your source.

    Hi Stevesh,

    thanks for taking a look. I'm not too worried at the moment about the horizontal scrollbar, I can tackle that at a later stage.

    Is there any chance you could post a screenshot of a product page in IE6? I could use that to re-style the add to cart position as I do have an IE6 stylesheet.

    Don't you just hate IE6

    Hard to get everyting in a screen shot, but these should let you get an idea:

    It looks broken in ie6 to me as well.

    But on the up-beat, your site is really nice and fast here San Francisco.

    Hi Stevesh,

    That's fantastic, I managed to tweak these:

    .headerbasketempty

    #cartAdd {

    #cartBg {

    Unfortunately, I had to use Photoshop and measure the pixels on your screenshot overlaid on top of my existing screenshot. Hopefully I've managed to move the add to cart area over where it should be and also the empty cart button?

    How's it looking now compared to the screenshots?

    Thanks for this by the way, it's really helpful.

    Can anyone on IE6 tell me if I've managed to fix some of the issues in IE6?
