Turn off "New Products for --" feature in categories

I was able to turn off the "New Products for (month)" feature on the index page, but how do I turn it off for the categories? Is there a switch or is it something I have to customize the templates to do? I feel like I must be missing something obvious.

I am on the latest version of the store, and I am using Cold Steel as my template.

If I understand the question, that switch in in the same place - Admin - Configuration - Index Listing

Thanks! I knew it had to be somewhere in there, but there's so many options around in different places, I'm still getting used to where everything is. Sometimes it takes me a while to see what's right in front of my face. Always embarrassing.
