Moving the entire store further down the online hierarchy

Hi,

today I have the zenCart set up in the root so going to www.diamantene.com will take you directly to the store.

Now I have created a new homepage that I want to use and then the user would click a link to get to the webshop. So now I want this setup:

www.diamantene.com (going to the new index.html file)
www.diamantene.com/webshop/ (going to the shop that is the frontpage today)

Is it possible to just do this move without harming the entire system? I don't want to mess up the entire site by doing this. Will the new admin area just be "www.diamantene.com/webshop/admin" ?
