moving folder and duplicate files

Hi - I have just installed Zen Cart and all has gone well.

However, i think i made a silly mistake by not moving the folder out of the 'zen-cart-v1.3.8a-full-fileset-12112007' folder when extracting it so it says: /zen-cart-v1.3.8a-full-fileset-12112007/admin

Can I simply move the admin folder to the root directory or do I need to change any corresponding files?

ALSO, strange thing has happened and I have duplicate copies of a number of files in the admin/includes folder including configure.php, general.js, header.php etc - i haven't done much other than change the name of the admin folder in the configure.php doc.

If you're new to this, best advice is to delete all the folders/files and re-upload again. If you start shifting stuff around you will end up with a puree of zencart code.

Keep the database - just delete the files.
