Can't change left column size

Hello,

I need to change left column size. I set Layout Settings - Column width Left Boxes 254, but column size did not changed still the same like the default 150. What else should i change?
I'm using version 1.3.8

There's a COLUMN BOX size and a COLUMN COLUMN size... Go back to layout settings and look a little further down.

Let us see your site. Some templates don't allow standard admin settings to operate.
