Am new on here so please be gentle ;O)

I have a client who is experiencing partial & intermittent white spaces on pages in their shop [not Admin]. Having read through the forum I downloaded the Debug Error Logging Utility & installed as per instructions. Now, here's the weird part; In the 'Server/Version info' page, I can see in the PHP Core section of MyPHP that the myDEBUG-xxxxxxx.log files are being generated but when I look in my specified cache folder, they're not there! Instead I see 2 .sql log files similar to this: zc_[32 digit alpha/mumeric filename].sql

Anyone else had this occur or can advise as to where I'm going wrong?

NB: I also have 'STRICT ERROR REPORTING' enabled on the site but do not see any errors displayed - is this right?
