help question Order emails not arriving for admin

I have just recently upgraded my payments to start accepting with authorize.net and am using the AIM module. With PayPal and the Moneyorder option, we receive emails when an order is placed that are generated by the site that has all the order details in it. When a user chooses the AIM module we get an email from authorize.net, but nothing from our store (like the PayPal and moneyorder ones). Is this normal? I hope not as the emails that we get with other payment types have much more information than those from authorize.net.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, we are using the latest version of zen cart.

    No, that's not normal.

I have no idea where the problem is, since out-of-the-box, all transactions paid using Authnet AIM automatically send the confirmation email.

So, that means it's likely related to something you've customized or an addon ... which means you'll need to check everything in your store for anomalies: http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.p...Obscure_Issues

Also, you haven't indicated whether there are any differences in the customer's experience upon completing the payment using the different options ... do they ALL see the same success page? or is it blank for certain ones? etc. Without knowing exactly what's unique about it, one can only guess.

i have ran the winMerge tool, but there are hundereds of files that show up as changed. Most of these have to do with the template and the ez pages, but I do not know what they all are. Is there a certain section that i need to focus on? The only customization that i did was modify the default skin.

Customers have three options to pay: check/moneyorder, PayPal, or CC with Auth.net. Only the ones that choose Auth.net don't send the order email. I get the email from auth.net, but not from the store. From the customer end, nothing is different. Everything goes through fine for them (no blank screen).

My client is getting very frustrated so any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Turn on email archiving and install the email archive viewer addon. If the emails show up in the archive then Zen Cart is sending the email but it's being dumped by one of the many mailservers between yours and the customers'. If they don't show up in the archive (but other emails do), then something's broken in your code.

When these emails are allegedly "not sent", do the customers see the checkout-success page with an order number and a link to their My Account area? Or, what happens after they click "confirm" on the checkout-confirmation screen?
What addons do you have installed?

    Awesome, thanks.
I turned on archiving and it shows that the last order that came through fired 4 emails (one was a sign up) and the last was the order to sales that never seems to make it. Now i know that the email are firing, but it is not reaching me. This would be a mail server issue? How would I troubleshoot this one? I thought I was sending using the correct method because at first I received an error message that emails were not going through. I changed methods and that went away.

The customers are receiving their emails so the server is sending mail correctly. Should i change the destination email address to see if that helps?

The only addon that I remember installing is the pricelist one.

    I certainly would.
And maybe get your hosting company to tell you why emails for yourself are getting lost.

For future reference, it would have been helpful if you'd mentioned in the first place that your customers *are* getting emails, and it's just your admin-copy of the emails that's not showing up as expected.
