FreeOptions won't save settings?

Hello Everyone,

I had a issue a couple weeks ago where I had to reload all my modules.... now when I try to "edit" via admin panel, they page will instead of saying "saved" will shoot me to the start page for admins....


I go back to the shipping model for example "freeoptions" and see that it wont save to the site settings? is this a CHMOD issue? or a database connection issue?

any help would be great.

Sounds like you have added the Security Patch incorrectly ...

Re-download and install the security patches and specifically check the file:
/admin/includes/functions/html_output.php

I didn't install any patchs to be honest, just reloaded the 'admin' folder from the zip download off the frontpage of zen-cart.com


seems like shipping modules are the only files I can't really change. can I manually change them?

Okkk, so now I noticed ANY option I try to edit will not save. what page contains "overwrite" status or how things are edited? I can view the admin pages no problem, but I cannot "save" any information anywhere, goes back to what I had each time on every option.

Check your file:
/admin/includes/functions/html_output.php

is that file current and correct?

i have the same problem.. my html output file is the same date as the installed patch.. u say to check it is correct.. what exactly am i looking for?

primarily my issues are with not being able to save new newsletters, or save edits of old ones. and i cannot use the editor to save info on my define pages, like the main page.

i managed to maually edit the index page, but have no idea where to find the newsletters that have been saved.

wasnt sure if this was a chmod problem or the html output file..
