Contact Form Errors & Cannot Log In

Someone just alerted me to the fact that they could not send a message via the contact form on my Zen Cart site. So I tried it out for myself and after completing all of the required fields appropriately and clicking on send I get the following errors:

Error Sorry, is your name correct? Our system requires a minimum of 2 characters. Please try again.

Error Sorry, my system does not understand your email address. Please try again.

Error Did you forget your message? We would like to hear from you. You can type your comments in the text area below.

So then I thought that I would try to login to see if there was something I could do in the Admin control panel but I couldn't log in and I am sure of the username and password. So I then tried the steps mentioned in http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...password+admin but I cannot login at all.

Zen Cart Version: 1.3.8a
Apache version 2.2.11 (Unix)
PHP version 5.2.8
MySQL version 5.0.81-community-log
