    Default fcgi

I am having some problems with our site and the server tech support says we are running on fcgi. Do I need to run on fcgi? or should they disable it?

fcgi or fast cgi is just a performance optimization. It shouldn't have any effect at all on the functionality of your store whether it is on or off. So if your host needs to turn it off in order to fix something, then I say let them.

    Good luck.

    What sort of problems?
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.
