"more info" and checkout

Hi, I have a question regarding "more info" on the product listing page.

I have some products with attributes, so instead of "buy now" next to them I have "more info" and quntity box. I can put quantity and press "add to cart" and this products is added to shopping cart and during checkout process there is nowhere asked about choosing the attributes.

How can I make so,that when customer chooses "buy now", he/she will be redirected to product info page to choose the right attribute before finishing checkout process?
