Simple Shipping Question

Well sort of. I don't think this is possible because I have searched everywhere and can't find an answer.

I have a client who demands to have a different shipping amount for each item. Some items are $1 and some are $15, etc. Doesn't depend on weight, actually depends on size of item (heights, etc).

So is there a way to specify that amount I want to charge for each specific item to ship???

The Per Rate perweightunit shipping module uses the products_weight for the shipping cost ...

2.50 is $2.50 x quantity

1.25 is $1.25 x quantity

etc. etc. etc.

then these are added up for the total shipping costs ...

NOTE: be sure to set the Maximum Shipping Weight to 5000 and the Tare Rates to 0:0 so that the amounts are not offset on these ...

Thanks, but I only see a per rate module in zen cart. I don't see perweightunit.

I tried the per rate but it just charges the flat rate I entered. I like what you mentioned, it makes sense but I can't find it, please help.

Per Rate is actually Per Unit perweightunit ... little typo there ...
