How To Customize Information Sidebox?

I'd like to turn off some links in my information sidebox on zen cart 1.3.8. I've opened the information.php to take a look and it appears to me that this can be done in the admin screen. I think this because I see lines such as:

if (DEFINE_SHIPPINGINFO_STATUS <= 1)

This leads me to believe that I should set something to "0" to turn links off. But I can't find where to do this in the admin screens and my Googlefu hasn't turned up anything.

Am I on the right track? And if so, where do I set this?

FWIW, I also found that disabling functions of the Order Totals Module turns off the respective parts in the Information sidebox as well.

yes, like ot_gv ... but careful about what mods you disable / remove.
