Default Base Image Directory - upload multiple images

I'm using Easy Populate to upload a number of products. One of the items is the product image which has a URL of lets say http://image/picture.jpg.

I can place that into the correct field in products but when I look at the product in ZEN I don't see an image.

Zen has appended the url http://mywebsite.co.uk/ to the image so the whole url is now http://mywebsite.co.uk/images/http://image.picture.jpg

So any ideas how I stop zen appending http://mywebsite.co.uk/images/ to the url so I can bulk upload images.

I have looked at the mysql table and its not appended there so can't fix it that way.

Plan B is to find an image loader that will process multiple url's from a file then saving the images into a directory and then I can ftp them into place.

Plan C involves lots of swearing, clicking on each url and copying from the \windows\temp directory....

Plan D - there is no Plan D

You cannot put a remote URL into v_products_image and expect it to call that image.

Zencart does not work that way. Unless you heavily customize the way zencart calls images, you must have all your product images resident in the images directory of your ZC installation. (You can have SUB-folders in the images directory).

You are obviously experiencing the issues I describe in this thread:
