    Default Custom reports??

I see under the admin : reports that there are 5 different types of reports avail on a click. But I'd like to have a report of what I currently have in my inventory, each item's count on hand and sold, and especially have it sorted/grouped by the manufacter field. Any way to retrieve this data? Thanks!

Search the Free Software Add Ons for 'report'. There are several available, and one or more may do what you want.

I guess you created your first software construction assignment

I didn't find a tool like you mentioned. Reports in Zencart are most of the time specifically build for sales / tax or stock.

Maybe it is time to integrate these.

Wonderful. Okay, so I downloaded two zipped files of potential report tools. Now what? I'm guessing I'd upload these zipped files onto my server under the zen cart's admin and...? If there's already instructions on this, please direct me, I couldn't find one. Thanks!

Unzip the file, read the read me instructions. Back-up ur database in case of a SQL adjustment.

Then put the files on your webserver (using a FTP program), be aware of the custom template folders (you can recognize them as TEMPLATE in your folder structure).

Follow the readme file, and all should be working fine.

There are many tutorials available through this site and google how to do these things. If you are unexperienced, I recommend try it on a local test site first.

    cheers
