    Default Custom index page content

    This may be obvious but I'm missing something. I am using the horizontal category nav so I don't need it to be repeated below on the index page. How do I edit my template so that I can replace the center area with my own content? I know I can switch it to show a particular category, but that doesn't help me either.

    Thanks for your help

    You can use the define pages. The one you want is ADMIN-TOOLS-DEFINE PAGES EDITOR- define_main_page.php

    Note to self: whenever you so much as dot an i or cross a t in ZenCart, *check how it looks in all browsers*. Until then it is *not safe* to think all is well!!!!

    That will allow me to put content above the categories, but it doesn't replace them. I'm wondering now if this is even possible without really breaking something.

    You can see what I mean at "funk on a string . com"

    I think you can get rid of those with some mix of admin settings, but I know you can remove them with this in your stylesheet:

    .categoryListBoxContents {display:none;}
