I've searched the forum and can't find any topic relating to my problem.

I am setting up two dropshippers and trying to figure out how to incorporate their two different shipping charges. Both ship via UPS but charge for shipping differently.

Dropshipper #1 charges shipping by a percentage of the total order cost. They are located in Southern California and their originating shipping zone is 2.

Dropshipper #2 charges shipping by weight (the standard UPS method). They are located in Texas and their originating zone is 2.

I currently have the Zipcodezone mod set up for dropshipper #1 and it works perfectly, calculating the customer's shipping charges based on the percentage of the order total and the shipping zone they live in.

Considering I doubt I can edit the SQL file for the zipcodeczone mod to contain two sets of the same zipcodes (but with different shipping zones) is it possible to place an attribute on each product using the Products Price Manager that will apply the shipping charges for each dropshipper depending on how they charge for shipping? In other words, I have established shipping charges for dropshipper # 1 but not dropshipper #2 because of the different way they calculate shipping (by weight, not price) to my customer.

Product A comes from dropshipper #1, from their zone 2, and shipping is based on total order cost.

Product B comes from dropshipper #2, from their zone 2, and shipping is based on weight.

I am also wondering if I can use the Zone Rates under Modules/Shipping in Admin by selecting one of the three zones to use for dropshipper #2 (using US as my country choice) to establish their shipping charges (by weight, in this case).

Combining both into the zipcodezone mod would be the ideal situation but don't think I can as it would contain two sets of the SAME zipcode prefix ranges but with different shipping zones applied to each duplicate zipcode range.

Hope I am making what I need clear. Any idea how this might be accomplished?

Thanks for any input!
