Text Editor HTMLarea is not working

Hi, I have seen some threads on this topic, but really couldn't find the solution. This is the issue:

I am trying to set up some products, but even though I am using bulletpoints, bold writing and using white lines, once I submit the product and check it on my website, these don't appear. So I only see the unformatted text.

Can someone please let me know how to solve this issue? Step by step would be preferable as I am not the average technical person posting on this forum.

Why don't you try installing the FCKEditor.
I've found it to be much better than the HTMLarea editor.
