Needing some help.

I have been searching for this and have no luck. I was wondering if its possible to add manufacturer onto the What's New Module. Like this:

Product Image
Manufacturer
Product Name
Price

Can anyone help me in this area?

I am using the red "New!" as a manufacturer but is it possible put the manufacturer in the Whats New Module?

You could use this function to look up the manufacturers_name by the products_id ...

/*
 * Return a product's manufacturer's name, from ID
 * TABLES: products, manufacturers
 */
  function zen_get_products_manufacturers_name($product_id) {

Just look for how the products_id is referenced in that module ...

You can use the function zen_get_products_manufacturers_name to get the name of the manufacturer via the products_id ...

Something like:

Yes, look in the module new_products.php and that should get copied to your templates and overrides directory for your customization ... then around line 71 you will see the code that builds the display ...

Look at the new code and compare to old code ... take the peice of New Code and stick it in the old code where you want to see that display ... :smile:

Will you help me with this code again the code has got the manufacturers between the product name and price. I actually want it between the image and the product name. Can you able to help me in that area?

I have got the code working,,,, but its still showing between the product name and the price.... But I want it between the product image and the product name. I need help with this code.
