    Default Qty box not displaying for digi downloads

    I can't get my qty box to display for my digital download products. It displays for all my physical products. I don't really want them to be able to order more than one, but I do want to be able to "add selected products" to the cart - allowing them to add multiple products to the cart with one click.

    Edit the Product ... is either the Maximum set to 1 or the Quantity box set to be hidden?

    Linda, both are those are okay. I've compared one of the digital products to a gift certificate. The GC's are virtual, too, yet they show the qty box on the listing page. The only difference between the setup of these two products is the "Product is Virtual:" field. For GC's, I have "Yes, Skip Shipping Address". For the downloads, I have "No, Shipping Address Required". I know I read that somewhere during the setup, but maybe that isn't what I need?

    I should add - the box displays with you click the product and bring up the details. But what I'm trying to do is let them add multiple downloads to their cart with one click. That is, "add selected items to cart" from the listing page.

    Downloads need to be set as:
    Product is Virtual: No, Shipping Address Required

    Always Free Shipping: No, Normal Shipping Rules

    Check that you have your Minimum, Maximum and Units set right, the default values are:
    Minimum: 1
    Maximum: 0
    Units: 1

    You could do a compare of your files to see if there is something that prevents Download products that has been added to your site to alter the quantity boxes ...

    Designing for a customer...first time with Zen Cart.

    I'm so sorry for my greeness using forums. I almost always find the answer or figure it out myself...this is my first time posting.

    I am working on a store with downloadable AND shipped products. I have the downloads setup and working GREAT! My only problem (not really a HUGE problem) is that when viewing the LIST of all products the download products do not have the qty box so that the customer can enter the qty for that PLUS other products and then click add all selected products to my cart. The qty box is present in the downloadable products details but not in the list. Like I said it's not HUGE problem but I do think her customers will NOT like this feature. So is this by design or can I make that dude appear for the downloable products?

    Thanks for your quick reply...I feel like I'm talking to a celebrity here!!!!

    Products with Downloads have Attributes ... Products with Attributes do not have quantity boxes on the Listings or anywhere other than the product _info page ...

    This is by design ... 95% of Products with Attributes require a "decision" by the customer concerning the Attributes ... to do that, they need to go to the product _info page ...
