Recent Problems: Unable to Log Into Admin

It seems there's a whole slew of users getting the same problem I am within the past month, where there's a new installation of ZenCart (or an upgrade) and we're not able to log into the admin section. None of the threads below have listed any solutions that have worked.

I did a Fantastico install of ZenCart last week and it was working for about a day, then for some reason it just stopped. After browsing and not finding any answers, I uninstalled and reinstalled, and the problem persists.

I have manually reset the password to admin/351683ea4e19efe34874b501fdbf9792:9b (admin/admin) using PHPMyAdmin, with no success. There aren't even any errors when I attempt to log in, it just reloads the page. When I try to recover the password, it just reloads the page and doesn't send to my admin e-mail address.

Can someone take a look at what might have changed recently, or could be causing these problems?

ZenCart: 1.3.8a patched - auto install via Fantastico

Note that I have another domain running this just fine, it was manually installed last year and manually patched to 1.3.8a about 2 months ago.

Still haven't figured this out. Is there any way to enable debugging mode or find out what's wrong myself?

I stumbled onto my solution somewhat by accident:
For some reason my host setup a re-direct in my cPanel, and as soon as I removed that redirect, I was able to log in.

Thanks for the update that this was related to redirects configured in the Control Panel for your site ... this is of great help for others ...

This is a common issue where hosting sites think they are helping in configuring a site ... unfortunately, it sometimes is hard to pickup on ...

Once you find it, it is a nice, easy fix ...
