Adding "pop-up" upsell extras?

Hello all. I hope I am posting this in the right spot.

Anyway, what I am wanting to do is add a pop up box/window to allow the viewer an optional add-on to their purchase.

This site is being built as a kind of delivery service for local restaurants. People come to the site, order their food, pay online and then the food is delivered. Pretty basic.

But what I am wanting to do is have it work so when someone adds something to their cart an option box pops up asking if they would like a sauce with it.

Example: Say you ordered a baked potato from this site. When you add the potato to the cart a pop up box comes up and asks, "would you like butter on that?" You can then either add butter to your order or close the box.

Is this possible? I am new to zencart so I am not sure what its limitations are.

I just used attributes. Not quite the same look I was going for but it does the job.
