Trying to rename admin folder/ssl problem

Hello

Just trying to follow the rename admin folder for security,

I altered all the configure.php as instructed, it worked - I arrive at my new admin login, but then it is redirected to my shared ssl proxy server and I get error 404, as 'admin' is still present in address there, not 'my new admin' where do I change that bit?

please help - should I disable sll?
it has been driving me nuts all afternoon

Thanks in advance - want to plug any security holes before I spend more time configuring my site on the host server

still haven't sorted it

I reinstalled everything, but if I rename 'admin' I can't login

I point the browser at the 'mynewadmin' URL, but the login stops as the my host https: SSL stops it progressing, it still thinks the folder is called 'admin' even though I thought I changed it everywhere else in configure.php

any ideas please?
I am a newbie, so I've probably missed something,

There might be another spot in the configure.php under includes/ to change the admin. Other than those two files I dont believe there are others you need to edit.
