I hope it is solved anyway.

what I did was remove their js folders since the script for their auto banners were disabled -- did the above change to the stylesheet.css file and found in the commons folder their tpl_header file and found where they listed those banners...change the two instances for each ones height to the height of the lower banners and yippee shrank the spaces between them.
