    Default Working With Affiliates

    Hi Everybody,

I'm new to the forum so forgive me if I leave anything out. I run a website called buildmybar.com and hired an affiliate company to start working with. We are having a problem getting them setup properly on our website so they can properly track. They asked us "how do you pass the order reference and order sub-total to a 3rd party tracking solution" . Does anybody have any idea what we need to do to get this setup properly. Thanks in advance.

Have a look at the recommended services. There is an affiliate service provider.

Thank you for the quick response! We actually hired a company that was highly recommended to us called Affiliate Future, so would love to be able to give them a try first before going elsewhere. However, if we can’t figure out how to get them set up properly, we might not have a choice. Does anybody else know what I have to do to pass the order reference and order sub-total to a 3rd party tracking solution?

Use the same instructions as for integrating the JAM option ... just change the URL and maybe some relevant parameters to point to your system.

I'm not too sure what you mean by JAM option, can you explain? Thank you in advance for your help.

Have a look at the JAM documentation here. I guess you have to modify it yourself or ask the provider of your affiliate software to do it for you. They should be interested in doing this since they dont want that you use another software shouldn't they.
