UPS XML Auto Import Module

I have installed the UPS XML Auto Import module and it works beautifully with the following exception:

My only issue is that the weights are not coming in properly. I do know exactly what is going on, but don’t know where to fix it. The issue is that the export XML file is showing the weight of only 1 of each product, although they may be ordering a quantity 50.

For example, one of my test orders has 50 AP124 @ 0.00452 lbs + 25 CAT01 @ 0.23402 lbs + 50 AP073 @0.00452 lbs which should = 6.30325 pounds, but here UPS export shows a weight of only 0.24306, which is just a quantity of 1 of each of the products ordered.

Unfortunately, the issue still exists on my end as well. I have not be able to locate the author of this module and don't currently have a proposed solution.

Has this issue been resolved or is there a fix i can put in the code? As far as i can tell it isn't taking in to account the quantity. i.e. i have qty of 6 at lbs each and it just puts the shipping weight as lbs. Any help on this asap would be greatly appreciated. I have about 600 labels to print

We haven't been able to get this mod to work.

The openshippments.xml file does not handle the php functions within.

It returns things like:
<ServiceType><?=$method;?></ServiceType>
and
<DescriptionOfGoods><?=$description_goods;?></DescriptionOfGoods>

Can anyone tell me what`s going on here? seems like the php isn't working. yet the customer information works with the echo function.
