    Default Changed Php4 to Php5

Hi i was doing some work on another site and required changing the Php setting from 4 to 5.2.1 Doing this has caused my zen site to loose connection to the DB. Any one able to help me fix this.

I would really like to have my Zen cart site on Php5 so i may need to transfer the MySQL DB to a new one.. (guessing)

This is the error message i get atm. I have reverted back to Php4 atm.

    0 DB_ERROR_NOT_CONNECTED
    in:
    [select * from project_version WHERE project_version_key = 'Zen-Cart Database' ]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

    Thanks

Zen Cart v1.3.8 works fine on PHP 5.

    What version are you using?

Originally it was 4.4.9. Due to another program that im wanting to run on the same server i need to change to 5.2.1

When i made the change my Zen cart site started reporting the error above. Or something like it.

So my question is how do i upgrade the current Zen cart site to 5.2.1 and get past the error above.

The version on Zen carts im using is 1.3.8

Not sure if this is clear or not.
What im saying is i installed Zencart on my server awhile ago. Think Zen was running ver 1.3.4 at the time. (I upgraded to 1.3.8).
    My site worked fine.

Yesterday i was making changes to my Host server settings and changed the Php settings from PHP4.4.9 to PHP5.2.1 as im looking at another program to run on my Host server and it requires 5.2.0 or higher.

When i did this. I broke the connection between my current Zen cart site and its DB. Reconnecting this brake is what im wanting to do. Also upgrading from PHP4 to PHP5 at the same time would be fantastic.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

Thanks Fixed this problem by going to the configure.php files.
I had mistakenly changed the password for the database. Modifying the configs fixed it.

Thanks for the feed back tho
