Blank Page on new FC12 w/PHP 5.3.0 and No Errors reported..

Hi, I just installed ZC 1.3.8 on a new server.

I'm not getting any errors that should indicate why blank pages are popping up in the apache logs.

Some background, I did have an existing database backup that I restored onto this new server. When I ran through the zc_install process, I entered the proper creds to login to the database and use the DB and tables that were previously created in an older version of ZenCart. (1.3.7 I believe) The DB is up and working fine.

Apache server logs only show an access to the server and an error for favicon.ico, which should not cause a blank page.

I know that this new PHP version is slower and seems to be problematic, which is why I elected to download the most recent version of ZC for this new server.

I'm at a loss on what to troubleshoot. The ZC_Install process completed just fine. But I can't see any errors to clue me in on what is going wrong.

Did you apply the patch for PHP 5.3 support? http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=140960

By the way, I did find out that php.ini had short_tags set to off. I set that to "on" but this did not help.

Ok. That was it. I hadn't done the patch correctly. Now to move over all the old data. Thanks!
