Using a new template

Please refresh my memory on using a new template. Do I delete the classic folder and replace it with the new folder for say green? Should this be done before or after installing the database.

After creating the database and installing Zencart, then create your 'custom' folders everywhere you see a 'classic' folder, at the same level. Nothing is deleted.

I put my folder in includes/templates and nothing changed. I did not delete any folders, the name of the folder I add is frome the download templates and is green marble. I kept everything inside the folder green marble. Is this correct.

There should be instructions included with the template. In general, what you say you've done is correct. Did you select the new template from the pull down menu in admin>tools>template selection?

Don't forget to reset the sideboxes as well.
