    Default Easy Populate Advice

Hi, i have installed easy populate and im very impressed with it. I have downloaded a few .csv files from companies and have tested it. I just have one problem that i am struggling to understand and that is to do with attributes. I realise if you add a manufacturer into the spreadsheet it adds it for you but is there anyway it can add attributes for you? At the moment i have attached a small image of an example of what the supplier gives. If i use that though i get 8 separate items instead of 2 with 4 attributes each. Is there a way i can change this so it adds them when i upload the file? I downloaded the easy populate attributes file and i had so many headed options :/ it was very confusing, any help on how to overcome this problem would be great. Thanks

Manually add a set of attributes to even a test product if necessary.

You need to get the paid version of easy populate

Do a export so you can see the field structure for your test item
Add the variables they provide you to respective products

While EP Advanced does handle attributes, it is extremely cumbersome and awkward... Not because of bad programming, but because of the relational structures within the ZC database that handle and manage attributes.

I have tried getting my head round the EP Advanced attribute management system, and while it's relatively easy to see the structural logic, getting the right data into the spreadsheet is an absolute nightmare (particularly when there are a lot of products and a lot of attributes.

To be honest, the in-built ZC attribute "copy" facilities are easier and probably quicker...
